Made in cloisters and workshops.
Gathered in one place.

What you’ll find

Quae invenies

Many monasteries and convents make beautiful items and only sell them at the gate or the gift shop. We want to put them in front of Catholics everywhere.

Example
Rosaries and devotions

A rosary of pearls and gilt beads

Strung and knotted by hand, one decade at a time. The kind of rosary you might find made in a convent or a family workshop.

Example
Textiles

Cloth printed by hand

Throws, altar linens and table cloths, printed and stitched in convent workrooms and family workshops.

Museum pieces shown as examples only. Not for sale.

Why we’re doing this

Cur hoc facimus

As Catholics, whenever we bought gifts, we wanted the money to support the Church in some way: a monastery, a parish, or simply a Catholic family business. But they were hard to find. The things they make are spread across abbey gift shops, convent gates and small websites, and there was nowhere to see them all in one place.

So we’re building one. The Guild brings Catholic makers together on one page, so you can buy for birthdays, feast days, Christmas or any special day, knowing your money is helping a Catholic community or family business.
